Under the influence of heat, conventional, rigidly fixed aluminium infills expand to a different degree on the inner and outer sides – this causes the bimetal effect and the warping of the door infill. The flexible outer fixing of AV technology allows this movement, so the infill stays flat at both low and high outdoor temperatures.
